Having my first car while I was still at college was really cool; while every other nerd in the college still using public transport to get around, I was already on four wheels. But to be honest all that fun only lasted for a few months, because later on my little old second hand Honda gave me so much trouble that I actually felt that even public transport would have been much faster. Because really it just kept on breaking down one after another; first the radio, then the ignition coil, then the whole ECU system and the list just extended on and on. And on top of that only when I was searching for replacements for my car, I found that the accessories for my car are literally inexistent and have been out of production for a long time.
So obviously as every teenager I chose Ebay; but luckily before I chose to sell it, I came over this site called carid.com; first it was really fancy seeing all those cool auto accessories, and I thought it was just another online store that sells car performance parts, but only after I found accessories even for my car, I knew they meant business. Really believe it or not, you could even travel all the way to Japan and still wouldn’t find the right accessories for my car; but these guys just had everything aligned for me. Filters, ignition coils, engine upgrade kits, performance booster – really there wasn’t; anything that I couldn’t find in there. And the cool thing was all of them were quite inexpensive as well; but I never stopped there, I went a bit ahead and started modifying my car as well. I installed the body kits at first, then custom tail lights and even added some really cool custom gauges.
